It was a sad day for all Pokemon fans when Pokemon Crater Battle Arena was shut down.
The good news is another game available now, Pokemon Volcano. This game is totally free to play, and more functions are being added all the time as it's still in beta mode. You can help improve the game by reporting bugs and making suggestions.
In Pokemon Volcano you start with 1 Pokemon, fight wild Pokemon to catch them, then battle with other online players in real time with you team of 6. You can chat with other players, and also view the leader board.
Pokemon Volcano is turn based, but If you get a friend to sign up to the game you will be rewarded with extra turns and other bonuses.
All Pokemon can be found in the game, even the legendaries - although they will be hard to find and even harder to catch.
So how about everyone gets started playing Pokemon Volcano here, support the game to keep it free, then perhaps we can all survive without Pokemon Crater after all!
