Minute to Win It
July 26th 2010 07:06
Minute to Win It is a primetime reality/game show.
To advance to the next level, the contestant must successfully complete a given task with a time limit of 60 seconds, either having to fully complete the task before the time runs out, perform a specific action for the time period, or have a specific task be completed at the end of the period. If time expires or the conditions of the task cannot be fulfilled (such as by the contestant using up any allotted attempts or committing a foul), the contestant loses a life. If the contestant loses all three of their lives, the game ends and the contestant's winnings drop down to the $0 (if level 1 was not beaten), $1,000 (if level 5 was not beaten), $50,000 (if level 5 was beaten), or $250,000 (if level 8 was beaten). These tasks progressively increase in difficulty throughout the game.
Once a task is completed, the contestant can elect to walk away with money earned before seeing the next level's challenge. However, if the contestant sees the next level's challenge, he or she must play it out, using all remaining lives.
An online version of Minute to Win It is available to play for free. There are three one minute challenges to complete, and higher points are awarded for completing each task quickly.
