Harry Potter - Hogwarts Live

Hogwarts Live (abbreviated as HL) is a text-based, multi-player, browser-based CRPG or MMORPG with an active member base of approximately 6,500 players. It is intended as a pseudo-parody of Harry Potter's world created by British fantasy author J. K. Rowling.

HL was first publicly released in March of 2004 and has steadily been growing in numbers since then. During the summer of 2005 the game populous exceeded that of 12,000 players. It is currently frequented by players from over 120 different countries.

The primary focus of the game is to fight the infamous Dark Lord Voldemort who is terrorizing the Wizarding world. However, what happens after that is one of the best-kept secrets of the game.

Tanks is an advanced turn based war game where you try to blow up your opponents tank before they get yours.. There are over 12 different weapons to choose from like scatter bombs and air strikes. There are other realistic features like tank fuel and engine sizes. You have the option to play against 4 human or 4 computer controlled opponents, or a mixture of both. There are also many terrains to play on from hot dessert terrains to snowpacked mountains.

Controls:

Left and Right Arrow -> Move
Up and Down Arrow -> Canon Rotation
PGUP & PGDN -> Fire Power
W -> Change Weapon
Space -> Fire

Genre: Fighting
Time to Play: 15 mins

The Continuum

The Continuum is an online strategy game that primarily involves turn-based squad combat. The game allows players to improve the individual units in their squadron with power-ups, abilities and equipment. Players will be able to find new equipment scattered throughout the game world, and will be rewarded for accomplishing various objectives. In addition to random finds and trading, players can improve their armies through the purchase of expansion packs.

The Continuum universe is developed through three issues of a comic book in addition to the game itself. The comics, written by the Seven Lights developers, originate various plot lines that will be critical to the game. Below you can see the story of The Continuum issues #1, 2, and 3 come to life.

The Continuum is due to launch very soon at the official website here. In the mean time you can check out the beta version.
