In 1066 you control the English, Viking or Norman armies.
The aim is to defeat your enemy’s army by killing or scaring off as many of them as possible.
The game is played in rounds, which are split into two phases. Each round starts with the Select Commands phase, where orders are issued. It is followed by the Executing Commands phase where the action is played out.
Once you have selected your commands, hit the ‘Execute Commands” button and the next phase will begin.
During the ‘Execute Commands’ phase all the actions are played out in the Battle View. You will need to keep your wits about you, as you will be thrown into different mini-games, which will determine the outcome of the round.
You will then return to the ‘Select Commands’ phase. This cycle will continue until one army is victorious.
